Our Story
Established in 1965, Leong Kee began with a warm bowl of herbal bak kut teh that supported early labourers in Singapore. The same recipe has been passed down for more than six decades.
Unlike the peppery style, our broth follows the traditional herbal profile with a rich and rounded flavour. It is crafted from more than ten herbs such as star anise, cinnamon, angelica root and goji berries. Slow-simmered for six hours with no added MSG, every layer of aroma comes naturally from the herbs.
This is more than a commitment to flavour. It reflects the wisdom of earlier generations who believed in dispelling dampness, nourishing the body and bringing gentle wellness into daily life.
